preparing to say goodbye

Just got back from a day in Peterborough at the old cottage...........I'd forgotten how beautiful the view is looking west over the lake. It sure brought back a lot of memories of the place where our kids enjoyed their summer holidays and weekends. I just submitted the request today for a demolition permit to demolish the old place.......our son Steve is going to build a new cottage on the site, so we won't have the old place any more, but all the memories will be intact.
