Because - A Life Journey & Story that Inspires

Although I don't often read fiction... over the Christmas break I read "Because" by Jack A. Langedijk. I simply loved it and cannot say enough about Jack's book. It portrays a touching story about a family torn by a mountain climbing accident resulting in a double leg amputation. The story takes the reader through Mr.Sanchez's experience and life journey helping youth with their challenges... yet faced with a mountainous challenge of his own - the question is whether he can overcome it, as his students had.

For any of our members facing change, a life challenge, or a hardship - this is a wonderful and deeply inspiring book to read. It takes you through a tragic part of a remarkably giving man's life... and looks at his transformation and ability to cope/or not - with the biggest hurdle of his life.
In my personal and family life, I have been on a more challenging portion of my life journey. The past few months in my career, have been a turn which can be emotionally difficult. Yet, reading "Because" was a breath of inspiration. In this way 'Because' struck me with a full emotional punch. In fact, it made me realize that my challenges on this life journey, are merely a curve in the road - which can easily be handled by steering and driving onward. In this regard, I cannot be thankful enough for the inspiration I took from Jack Langedijk's first book (an inspiring story onto itself).
Aside from being a great story that I highly recommend all the Kamazooie members read, Jack (the author) lives in Toronto and I let him know of my enthusiasm for his first publication. In fact I am hoping he will join us - to post a discussion of authoring 'Because' and perhaps answer a few questions.
To all my friends here on Kamazooie - do order yourself a copy of 'Because'.
If you are looking for a burst of inspiration for your life - I know you will love this one.
