Hi Everyone:

Brian came by Meadowbrook to see me this weekend which was a nice surprise. I was napping when he came by and when the came in he told me there was a party going on in the common area. This is our Happy Hour which happens every Friday afternoon.  Brian suggested we go and enjoy the music so I fixed my self up a bit and we did. We even got up and danced a couple of times.

It was the first time that I had a glass of wine since I've moved into Meadowbrook; Brian told me not to make it a habit but he was only joking (I think). I was telling my friends we were sitting with that Esher and I never used to miss a dance. We would go out every weekend. My father-in-law (his name was Allan Ritchie too) would say "I'll watch the kids, you guys go and have a good time.". Then Brian reminded me and the other ladies that we never went dancing much since he was born. Around that time, Esher and I started the tourist outfit and we were busy many weekends so I guess he's right, we did slow down around then.

After the Happy Hour, we went over to Al and Laura's and had a nice dinner, then we played a couple of games of dice and had a really nice time. Sorry the pictures are a bit fuzzy; Brian says you can blame his camera phone for that.

Brian stayed over on Friday night and took me to Tim Horton's for breakfast before heading back to Maple.

Take care everyone. Don't be a stranger. Lots of room at Meadowbrook if you want to come by for a visit :D
